Daoist Wellness Through Movement, Breath & Wisdom

 

As a 15th Generation Wudang Sanfeng Pai, 26th Generation Longmen Pai, and Tai He Dao Priestess of the Daoist arts, I was raised in a conscious way of life and sensed from an early age that the world held deeper layers than those seen with the eye. This early curiosity has woven an extraordinary path of Daoist knowledge, life experiences, and embodied practice that I now share with students and seekers around the world to support harmonious health, vitality, and joyful living.


Dao Moving Meditations is a dynamic, flowing practice that integrates the ancient arts of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, internal alchemy, and Daoist meditation into one embodied experience. This practice guides you to explore your body’s natural structure and movement patterns, deepen your breath connection, and cultivate your internal energy (Qi) so you can transform stress, increase vitality, and enhance your overall health and well‑being.


Each class unfolds organically and uniquely, shaped by the group’s collective energy and intention—inviting participants to meet in common affinity, presence, and connection.

Individual Practice & One-on-One Sessions

I began exploring Daoist movement practices years ago, seeking not just physical balance but a way to bring clarity, peace and presence into my everyday life.  Over time, I discovered that Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, internal alchemy, and meditation were more than exercises—they were gateways to reconnecting with my own energy, rhythm, and intuition. One-on-one sessions are my way of sharing these practices in a deeply personal, accessible and transformative way.


Life often moves too fast for scheduled classes, or sometimes your needs simply require personal attention and tailored guidance.  In private sessions, we can address exactly what you’re carrying:

  • Anxiety or restlessness—learn specific breathwork and intentional movement techniques to calm your nervous system and cultivate inner peace.
     
  • High-stress work or life circumstances—practice intentional movement sequences designed to restore focus, clarity, and grounded energy.
     
  • Disconnection from your body or life—explore gentle Daoist exercises and mindful meditation to nurture self-awareness, confidence, and vitality.
     

Every session is tailored to you. I can come to your home, yard or local park, creating a space that feels comfortable, natural and nourishing.  Together, we will move with intention, cultivate energy flow, and explore internal alchemy practices that help harmonize mind, body, and spirit.


I also integrate insights from the Yi Jing and other Daoist wisdom when appropriate, offering guidance that goes beyond the physical practice to support your personal growth, spiritual exploration and holistic well-being.


Investment: These sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $85–$195, honoring both the value of the work and your ability to receive it. My goal is to make Daoist wellness practices accessible, meaningful and transformative for anyone seeking a deeper connection to themselves.

Group Classes

Our group classes blend the ancient Daoist practices of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, internal alchemy, and meditation into a flowing Dao Moving Meditation designed to cultivate vitality, reduce stress, and support overall health and well-being. These movements are practiced in a way that can be easily integrated into modern life, helping you carry the benefits of Daoist wisdom into your daily routine. 


Classes are currently held weekly in Loveland, Colorado, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars on 3rd Street, every Thursday from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm. Each session provides space to move, breathe, and explore energy flow, guided with intention and mindfulness.


Investment: These sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $5–$50 per class, honoring your ability to pay while ensuring the benefits of Daoist wellness practices remain accessible to all.

Retreats & Events

Dao Moving Meditations workshops are designed to meet the unique needs of your festival, journey, retreat, or event, offering participants a chance to move, breathe and connect in a mindful and grounded way.  Each session draws on Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, internal alchemy, and meditation, creating a practice that supports vitality, reduces stress, and fosters clarity of mind and body.


Workshops can be tailored to your schedule and goals—whether a guide during a medicine journey, morning movement session, an evening meditation, a half- or full-day workshop, or a lecture on health, well-being and Daoist philosophy.  Participants learn practical techniques and movements they can carry into daily life, while also experiencing the calming and energizing effects of conscious movement and breath.


The practice naturally integrates with medicine journey's, music, sound, music, bowls, drums or other elements to support focus and presence, allowing participants to explore internal awareness, energy flow and personal alignment.  Many leave feeling centered, energized and more connected to themselves and the present moment, carrying the benefits of the practice long after the workshop ends.

Yi Jing (I Ching) Readings

A Yi Jing (I Ching) reading offers a chance to step back and see your life with more clarity. This ancient system, over 3,000 years old, doesn’t predict a fixed future—it reveals patterns, highlights strengths, and points out where balance may be needed.


Think of your life like a rainbow: some colors are bright and prominent, others faint or missing. A reading helps you bring these energies into balance, so that each area of your life—relationships, work, health, personal growth—receives attention without one overshadowing the rest.


During a session, we explore your questions or challenges—whether practical, such as timing a major event or understanding relationship dynamics, or broader, like navigating a life transition or finding clarity in your personal path. You’ll gain insights, tools, and perspectives that can be applied to daily life, helping you approach decisions and challenges with more focus and ease. Many people leave a session feeling centered, grounded, and better equipped to navigate life’s complexities.

Consciousness Coaching

A student once described this work as “detective work,” and the description fits. Each of us carries patterns, habits, and recurring challenges—those familiar triggers that hold us back from living fully. Consciousness Coaching is a one-on-one session designed to explore your specific needs, helping you uncover what’s getting in your way and giving you practical tools to move forward with clarity and balance.


We are all at different stages in life, with unique circumstances and priorities. The goal of these sessions is to address your challenges and provide lasting tools, so that over time, you can navigate life more independently and with a deeper sense of alignment. In essence, the work is meant to empower you to work yourself out of a need for coaching, by giving you the skills to manage and grow your life on your own terms.


Sessions are customized and may include a combination of:

  • Movement practices such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Dao Yin to cultivate energy and presence
  • Yi Jing insights and Feng Shui adaptations for your personal environment

 Some unique and great things that are taught along with foundational and detailed breathing and movement synchronization of key movements that naturally brings about harnessing energy flow naturally. This is rare since most classes are just visually following a teacher without any of the detailed hands on feedback. This is true for master yoga teachers as well that I've come across and breathing with motion is one of the key pieces for good yoginis, so what we learn can be passed to yoga and just daily living in stressful situations and to get energized (especially if you're a desk jockey like me).

 Sam is a great teacher!! I really appreciate their classes, the circle of this class is full of good intentions, learnings and laugh :).
