As a 15th Generation Wudang Sanfeng Pai and 26th Generation Longmen Pai  practitioner of the Daoist arts, Samalita combines the ancient  techniques of tai chi, qi gong, dao yin, alchemy and meditation into a fluid Dao  Moving Meditation for vitality, stress management, and overall health and  wellness.  This is more than just movement, it's a life philosophy.  The end goal is to adapt this ancient art and way of life into our modern world to experience life itself as a moving meditation.   

The passion for fencing began in college, where she competed in local and national tournaments, and was on the N. California United States Fencing Board of Directors as the Vice Chair for three years.  She taught beginner fencing classes and  was an assistant coach at for Coastside Academy of Fencing in San Francisco.   After moving to Colorado she began working with the Fencing Academy of Denver, where she is the Coach at the Loveland Club, and Assistant Coach in Longmont.

Many of the productions Samalita has been involved with included both on the stage and behind the scenes, from singing and acting to producing and directing.  She knows what it takes to host an event from beginning to end, and has experience working as the venue host to the event host.  She has coordinated, managed and has been both a primary and supporting role in annual festivals, street fairs, stage productions and wellness events.
